Blackberry Sourdough Muffins
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 egg
- ½ cup sourdough starter
- 1¼ cup blackberries (if large like some of ours, you might want to cut them in half)
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add in the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the blackberries.
- Optional to do a sugar or streusel topping
- Bake in a 400 degree oven for 18-23 minutes until golden brown
