We were longing for change and a had a yearning for the mountains. Originally from Arizona, we embarked on a journey that led us to Durham, North Carolina, It was a fortuitous stay at a neighboring Airbnb that ignited our love for the area and set the stage for everything you see today.

While we were not looking for a home, we stumbled upon a property that stole our hearts. A home drenched in history, where each brick held stories of the past. The original owner, the town pediatrician, had left his mark, weaving stories of healing and compassion into the fabric of the land. With each passing day, we unravelled more about our newfound sanctuary - one of heritage and charm.

With a clear vision and loads of determination, we embarked on the journey of turning our dreams into reality. From building a grand coop to welcoming new additions to our farm family, every endeavor has been fueled by passion and a sense of purpose. Our home became a sanctuary not only for our own growing family but also for those seeking solace and rejuvenation. Inspired by the profound healing experienced by guests, we opened the doors to our world and have since been inviting others to share in the magic of Farm Trouvaille.

Trouvaille, a French word meaning a chance encounter with something wonderful. For us, Farm Trouvaille is a testament to the transformative power of unexpected discoveries.
